Okay, My daughter will be in Kindergarten this year. She was tested a few weeks ago from the dean of gifted and talented in our school district. They said that she is above level. Her mind is more in line with a seven year old. At this time she is still 4. Her Birthday isn't until May. My question is: Is it better to put her in school , or homeschool?

Why are more people concerned with the socialization and not the academics of public school?
Why are you for or against homeschool or public school? Be specific please!
I realize this is a 2-part question, but they go hand in hand I think!

Hey Y'all!
I have to write a persuasive speech for English, and I'm doing it on Homeschool vs. Public School (pro-homeschool :P) I was hoping to get some opinions and answers to some questions. I'd like answers from people on all different sides: homeschoolers, public schoolers, homeschool moms, teachers, etc. And please tell me which category you fall into. Thanks!
1. Are homeschoolers properly socialized?
a. What does that mean to you?
2. Do homeschoolers get a quality education?
a. Are they prepared for college?
3. Are homeschoolers prepared to function in the "real" world?
a. Are they too sheltered?
Any other pros and cons of either would be great, or any additional points/questions I should add.

What if the Child has an IEP?
Is there a state law that requires districts to pay for a student who is ready for college classes at 16 if she has an IEP?

If I have $1 in my hand and spend it - I'll never see it again.
If I have a child in my heart - they'll never leave it.
Education is an investment in the future of our world, and our children.
I'm the one who controls what my child learns and doesn't learn. Things like religion have nothing to do with it here.
1- I know when my child understands a concept - not when 2/3 of the classroom does.
2- I know what my child is driven by. Dinosaurs are popular here... so dinosaur math makes it fun. Teachers in public school can't do that.
3- No matter how much your child's teacher tries - they will never love that child as much as you do.
4- I know when to push the limits and challenge, and when to review. My child isn't wasting hours on trying to be where the rest of the class is or isn't.
Do I wish I had a full time paycheck and free curriculums? Heck yea! But you know what - it's worth it.
