Japanese bikes are fast and nimble, German bikes are reliable and durable, what are Harleys good for?
Asked By Studley Von Longshlong,Last Answer By vlxsixhundred At 2011.03,1 Answers

Seriously, the japanese bikes have the hp and handling down, the german stuff is reliable and can go anywhere (their gs series is amazing and their K bikes now put out over 160 hp), KTM's have been winning the the Paris Dakar for years, Ducati's seem to be winning all the races these days, and even Triumph's sport bikes are getting tons of praise as of late. So if these bikes have all the racing, handling, maneuverability, reliabilty, off road capability niches filled, what niche does the Harley fill? I can carve canyons at high speed, drop a knee around the track, ride offroad to almost any destination on earth on all these bikes, but what can I do on a Harley? Obviously I mean other than do the "let's dress up like the village people and ride to the bar" thing - that's the obvious (and embarrassing) one and my apologies go out to any flag slathered hog riding retards (is that redundant?) that may take offense to this question.

Looking for a road bike to travel around the city. I came across an ad for a Vista Pacer for around $140. Not very familiar with this bike since it's made in Japan. The bike is all tuned up and ready to ride. Any help?

Son can't pedal bike, will tricycle be better?
Asked By dramaqueen,Last Answer By Can't take it anymore At 2011.04,1 Answers

My son will be 4 in a month. He's healthy and active and can't play soccer and baseball, so he's coordinated for his age. My father bought him a bike with training wheels for Christmas. Despite a lot of coaching on my part and a determination on his part (my son) he can't seem to pedal hard enough to get going. He keeps trying to pedal backwards. I've tried showing him the correct way, but he just can't seem to get it. His birtday is coming up and I thought I'd try to get him a different kind of ride on toy that he could learn to pedal on more easily. Any suggestions? Would a tricycle with a back be easier for him to learn to pedal on?
