Any other Jews not supportive of Israel??? Does this make me a bad Jew?
Asked By Nazia,Last Answer By Sarah Silverchitz At 2011.03,1 Answers

I was a huge zionist all of my life until I got to go to Israel for the first time. Long story (very long story) short, by the time I returned to US I was very against Israel. I am very supportive of Palestinians and feel they are mistreated horribly. For a long time I felt only pro-Palestine because I could see and did see first hand, many horrible things Israel was doing to Palestine. But then I started to see how violent Palesetinian culture is and how much it attacks civilians.

I am still supportive of Palestine but if Palestinians would stop blowing up civilians the world would only then see the wrongs Israel has done in many scenarios!!!

I am very conflicted on this opinion. I have never come out in my Jewish community that I am not supportive of Israel. It was very difficult for me to come to many of these conclusions but I could not deny the truth I saw with my own eyes

I hope I dont get hatred though. I just feel like NO BODY has an open mind on this issue, Jews or Arabs!!!

In Israel do they have a group of Jews called Messianic Jews?

Are we, as Jews in Israel, not repeating the acts of Nazis, what we are doing in Israel?
Asked By Chaim Gershom,Last Answer By m i At 2011.03,1 Answers

I have visited those former death camps, I have seen the footage that the Nazis were foolish enough to film, it is heart breaking for me to see what happened to our people is being repeated still to this very day, by our own, to anyone else. Violence can not always be the answer to everything, can it? Are we shaming the memories of our familiy members who perished and were tortured for no good reason? Would they be pleased with us if they were to see us now?

Why should Israel not belong to the Jews?

I'm against the current policies of the Israeli government and I deplore some actions of the IDF, especially at check points.

But when it comes to the land itself, do we Arabs really have more claim to the land? think about it objectively.

Didn't we Muslims invade countless countries in North Africa and Europe and made them Islamic? even Palestine belonged to Christians when we made it Islamic, it was definitely not always an Arabic land as we always hear on TV, whether we like it or not.

The land of the Arabs and Muslims was originally ONLY the Arabian peninsula, but now we have countries all over Asia and Africa that were not originally Islamic countries.

Jerusalem is only the third holiest Islamic sight, so why not let the Jews keep it since it is the absolute holiest sight in Judaism AND still, they allow us to practice our religion and pray at Al-Aqsa mosque.

Why does Germany still have to pay reparations to Israel and the Jews?
Asked By James,Last Answer By Mr Natural, Rev. 2:2 At 2011.03,1 Answers

I'm German and I know Germany is paying, and has paid millions and billions in reparations, not only to the state of Israel, but also to numerous families organizations. I don't think this is right, and I don't think Germans should have to feel guilty and pay money to Israel and Jews even now so that Israel can use that money for their weapons and military for killing and hurting other peoples. When will this all stop?

What else yet Israel did not do compared to Hitler, either to Jews ? ?

How are Christians treated by Israeli Jews in Israel?
Asked By Dimitri,Last Answer By Dean At 2011.05,1 Answers

I saw on youtube videos of how Jews were treating Christians, telling them to get off their country and leave them alone, but is it that bad?

I know and understand how the Jewish people suffered from cruel Christians in the past (and today), but can we not forgive one another?

And I would like to say if it hadn't been for the Jews, most of the world would have never known about the God of Abraham.

The ancestors of 90% of all Jews in Israel today come from the Khazar's, a European tribe. Is this true?
Asked By Roy Borrill,Last Answer By антитеррор At 2011.05,1 Answers

The Khazar, where a tribe of people from southern Russia, of Turkish decent who converted to Judaism in the 8th century and which represent 90% of the Jews living in Israel today. They are better known as Ashkenazi Jews. The other 10% being Sephardic Jews who are of Arabic decent. Although many Jewish historians and scholars accept this as fact and it has been widely written about, many Jewish people find it a contentious subject, as they feel it takes away from their claim that Israel belongs to them, and has done for thousands of years. If they come from European stock then they feel this devalues their ancient claim to that land. I have no opinion on the matter, one way or the other, but am interested in what other people have to say about it. What is your view on this subject?

Are Sephardi Jews treated as second class citizens in Israel the same way blacks where in America?

My wife isn't very supportive of my ambitions; why can't she just be a little more supportive and positive?
Asked By ££,Last Answer By Kallan- MIA At 2009.12,1 Answers

See, I am an amateur inventor, and I have had many good ideas over the years, but my wife has never tried to support one of my ideas, or express any sort of confidence in me. This really hurts me, especially since it is so obvious that I try so hard. I need her to invest some money to get one of my inventions off the ground, since she is the one who works, but she never has anything good to say about my ideas.

Some examples:

She told me that my idea for a solar-powered flashlight was the stupidest thing she had ever heard of. I was just crushed. I think that we could be millionaires if she had just invested in my idea, but she demolished that dream.

She also didn't like my idea for a microwave self-cleaning bedpan; she said it was dangerous! Can you believe that?! It was a goldmine just waiting to be tapped, but she squashed all my hopes for it, and wouldn't invest a dime.

I had been inspired once when I saw a business that had torn out all of their fiberglass insulation, and got to thinking about a way to recycle it all. My idea: recycle all that fiberglass into pretty, bright pink maxi pads. Did she think this was a winner? Hell no! She told me to expect to be celibate for a month over that one.

She had a similar reaction to my idea for a vise-grip breast pump. I thought that this would be a real boon to women everywhere, as it would squeeze out a lot of milk in record time, but she just couldn't bring herself to admit it was a good idea. More celibacy for Jack over that one.

I got to thinking of ways to help make potty-training easier, but when I unveiled my idea for a line of flavoured toilet papers, she just rolled her eyes and said I was "no Dr. Spock." I don't understand her Star Trek reference, but a lot of what she says doesn't make sense to me as it is.

Finally, I had a sure-fire winner, a practical and cultured way to deal with those who have a problem with flatulence: the rectal harmonica. Do you think she saw just how great this idea was? Once again, nope.

I sort of think she is jealous because she is married to a genius, and so she just likes to put me down constantly. What can I do to get her to be more supportive?
