Is it fair to continually pick the same person for best answer, even if there are better answers?
Asked By Lady Crystal,Last Answer By Magickal Potential At 2010.09,1 Answers

Be honest, you know you do it, so why?

Why do people ask questions, get some amazing answers, and then not bother to pick best answer.?
Asked By katesmate,Last Answer By nealo d At 2011.03,1 Answers

They just let it go to a vote. I think its a bit ungrateful really people take the time to answer, yet the asker just cant be bothered to pick and award 10 points.

Can you please answer these questions about random hockey brain droppings?
Asked By Homes,Last Answer By Kimmy (Will not back down) At 2011.03,1 Answers

1. I imagine that “Peter Puck” the cartoon was more appropriate that “Peter Stick”. Do you think that the creators of the cartoon realized that could be construed as being naughty…so they went with a puck instead of a hockey stick?

2. I can understand why football and baseball referees uniforms are black and white. They stand out against the green field and brown court. The puck is black and ice is white. Should hockey referee’s uniforms stand out more on the ice? Or do you feel if they had a certain color of uniform, they may blend with a certain team jersey……like if the had a red uniform they may look like a player on the Devils?

3. Since everybody is a freaking tree hugger these days, what is a good way to reuse and/or recycle broken wood hockey sticks?

4. I found a recipe the other day for a ranch dip that you put in a casserole dish that looks like a hockey rink when you are done. Red Peppers for the circles, blue corn chips for the goalie crease, and I forget what was the goalie net…..anyway it was the cutest little recipe. It made me think of this dip my mother used to make when I was a toddler. When you were a little, little, little kid, what was the best snack or dinner your mom or parental figure every made?

5. If a team of mad NHL scientists discovered that having a hexagon-shaped puck prevented the puck from ever bouncing unnecessarily on the ice, would you be happy if they started using it, or are you a fan of odd bounces?

6. Living directly next to a NHL hockey arena would have its advantages and disadvantages. What would be the Number 2 BEST thing about living next to an arena?

Top contributors pick their buddies as best answer too often.?
Asked By jhnplezz pachater killer,Last Answer By Arriba la raza At 2011.02,1 Answers

Why is that some top contributors in boxing here in yahoo answers are bias.

They just pick best answer among themselves.

Regardless of others that answered the question more accurately.

And answering accurately can get you thumbs down because it doesn't please their eyes regardless of how truthful the statement is.

fair contributors are:

1.JON

Some bias contributor :

1. Andrew C ( Sean G's BFF )
2. DT

Pls help me identify who is bias so we would know which contributors to avoid
because answering their question is a waste of time

B&A ~ Why would a regular user not pick a best answer?
Asked By reader,Last Answer By ashimagupta02 At 03.21,11 Answers

There have been a spate of questions lately about B&A habits, but one of my pet peeves has not been touched on. I don't care if the drop ins and homework questions don't pick but I would like a little insight into why a regular user who expects people to be creative and thoughtful would feel that leaving a question to a vote is appropriate.

There are people I simply won't answer because they never choose. I'd far rather lose then have it go to a vote but I'm wondering if I'm missing some sort of reasoning that would make me resent it less.

Also, am I alone or does this bother some of you too?
