i was surfing today on a left was a bout to go up for a lil lipper to come down with the section, wasnt fast enough got thrown forward and the nose on my board went through my ear....from the back of it by the pressure point through to the inner ear tube...jus got out of the doc and he didnt give my anythign the bastard, help me out

I had all four wisdom teeth extracted 12 days ago. I was off the prescribed medication 3 days after surgery. I have since taken otc pain killers, ibuprofen, Advil, stuff like that. I have to take it everyday because its still a little sore. The doctor said that was normal. My question is will I have some kind of problem if I take these otc pain killers any longer? I only take the recommended dosage but you aren't supposed to take it for an extended period of time right?

My back has been killing me for about 3 months now, and I am finally going to the doctor. I am afraid he is just going to prescribe me prescription ibuprofen or something. I don't want to sound like a druggie because I'm definitely not, i just want something strong enough for my pain since I'm paying to go see the doctor anyways. Any advice?

She has new "friends" that "just love her to death" - and I'm afraid that will become true. It's vicodin and booze, and it's every night. I've been introduced to a few of the new friends, but told her not to bring them back. Now she stays away from me.

I know it sounds like a stupid question but it's for a book I'm writing where all the children of Britain are "evacuated" due to a pretend war but they are actually being turned into mindless killers by the government. What could they be used for though as nothing can beat a nucleur bomb.

1. Stress: from work, from school, from home...American's lifestyle, though high, is not one of the healthiest. Work is all about profit, it doesn't matter what field one works in. So when you are working, if you want to keep your job, you have to work very very hard. Efficiency is good but we can't maintain it constantly...we burn out.
2. Social problems: by this I mean all those -isms...though we want to think of us as a melting pot, we actually are not. A lot of people are still, consciously or not, holding prejudices against people who are different (different races, different sizes, different sex, you name it).
3. Weapons are easily attainable: the worst one can do without a gun is stabbing or something in close contact, which is much easier to defend than a long range shot from a gun...

Im asking because a deputy was killed this morning in my area. It's really sad because he had 5 kids. But my thing is that a lot of people that are murdered have kids and I think all murderers should be punished harshly, not just cop killers. What do you think?
