So I have had this fish tank for about two years now and within the past month this white fungus-like stuff has started to grow at the bottom. I take really good care of the tank and have never had a problem. But I don't know how to fix this or even what it is to fix it? I have tried cleaning it all out and within a week its all overgrown again. This stuff only appears at the bottom of the tank, and seems to grow the most under the decor in dark areas, any please help?

omg, these are bad answers.

Don't add any sort of chemical to your tank unless your willing to deal with dead fish.

Check your water parameters, something is not right. Maybe even cut the lights for a few days. This could even be some form of fungi growing in your tank. Start gravel vacuuming with 10%-20% water changes. This should help a lot.

Don't add weird chemicals, "algae eating fish" or change more then 50% of your water at one time. This has most likely happend because there is too much nutrients (food, waste) left over in your tank. With the gravel vac and the water changes, this should go away in a week or so.

Good Luck !
