at the moment i've got a 6'2x18 1/2x2 3/8 but i'm finding it bogs to easily, and while its great doing power maneuvers and snaps its not very open minded regarded new school moves and aerials.
i'm in the market for a new board and would value your opinion. i surf i really wide range of conditions but this board would be used for 2-4ft (aus measurements) with varying quality and power.
thanks

i'm 6'2 and 80kg btw

It might not bet the width of your board that's curbing your performance it could be the fins. If your at an intermediate to professional level then changing to some top end fins will noticebly improve your surfing. The K Fins are great for air reverses and any spinning moves as the middle fin is smaller and allows relese in the tail while maintaining drive in your turns. Oh and i wouldnt go wider than 19" it will turn really slow.
