So I have a goldfish, and I fed it potato chips, and it started acting weird, and instead of swimming right side up, it's now floating upside down. When I talk to it, it hasn't been talking back or responding like it usually does. I'm getting really worried because this has been happening for a week, and it hasn't eaten any of the potato chips that I've given it to counteract the effects! Also, it is starting to swell, and I don't want a fat goldfish...is it getting fat because of the fast food? Please help!! What should I do???

Has it been Hydrating a lot? Because of the severe risk of dehydration (especially for small sharks and goldfish), this is the main treatment for "upsidownidious". If you consider everything you've blasted into the the fish tank since your fish began showing these signs, it makes sense. It's not just water its been losing either. It's also vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes. Aside from drinking plenty of water, fish should also be drinking sports drinks, anti-freeze, and vegetable juices. Fish should be given Pedialyte, CeraLyte, and/or Infalyte. Child or adult, make sure to it drinks its beverages slowly throughout the day.
