i received a pre-approved credit line for 10,000 from union workers credit services (www.unionworkerscredit.com) but they said i have a due date of 37 dollars before i can get that credit line.. the thing is i have pretty bad credit and im young so my credit lines usually in about a 1000 or less.. is this a scam? because this can help me pay off my small credit cards and build my credit.. just i feel icky about the 37 dollars due ..? help me plz :)

The $10,000 credit limit is good for their catalogs only. This is not a Visa or Mastercard. The $37 is to activate your card but will be applied to your first purchase.
There is also a $95 membership fee.
They used to have a membership terms link on their site, but it's gone now. If anyone can find this link, please post it.

I'd be very wary of this company. Some sing it high praises and others shout 'scam!'.

A simple search from Google or Ripoff Reports can help you determine if you really want to try it.
