Wang Chung did care at one point, but he also allowed that idiot Mike Milbury to trade away young talent before they had a chance to develop for older vets in an attempt to "Win Now". They failed miserably at that. Some questionable drafts earlier ( DiPietro before Heatley or Gaborik?) haven't helped.
On a positive note, despite losing tonight, the team almost reminds me of the 73-74 team. Even though that team still lost, they made a great defensive improvement from the year before, surrendering 100 less goals.
If this whole Lighthouse thing can be resolved, I think Wang will regain interest in the team again, or just sell it to someone who will care. Part of it, besides the unwillingness to spend to keep losses down, is that the FA's that were within Wang's budget weren't worth what they were asking.
