I am getting my first snake tomorrow [jungle python]
Unfortunately, it is a year old and has been feeding on live food.
I've been a vegetarian for a year and a half now and am not okay with the idea of killing an animal, or sending it to its death.
My dad will be able to feed it for now, but i'm moving out in two years and will need to be able to do it myself.
Is it possible to encourage a snake to eat thawed food instead? Any tips or advice?
My dad thinks i'm being stupid, but in the end I'll be the one responsible for feeding him or her for the next 20 or so years and so I need to find a method I am comfortable with.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

We used to feed her wet food onto of her dry food, and now we just feed her wet food. I have increased the amount of wet food I give her to compensate for the lack of dry food but now she isn't finishing her food! I'm concerned. :(

I have a 4 year old male cat. For the past week and a half he has refused to eat his wet food. He is still eating his dry food, but vomits two times each time he eats some of his dry food. I haven't changed the food, so I am not sure what is causing this. He has lost a bit of weight and I am starting to get concerned. If anyone has any insight I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

ive had my red eared turtles since they were about the size of a silver dollar ( if not smaller ).
there was never a prob. with their health. one is about 7 inches and the other 5. i'd say they're both males; but like each other. as of now i got them in a 125 gallon long tank.
their water is crystal clear and water nice and luke- their water is about 78-80 .
they also got a turtle topper and additional basking platform with lights.
i've been feeding them reptomin floating pellets; mini krills; fruit and live feeder fish.
but i didnt see them eat their dry food for about 4 days now.
i try changing from reptomin to HBH turtle bites.. but no change.
feeder fish are a bit too fast for them but they caught some few days ago.
my turtles seem energetic but im worried about them not eating anymore.

I have two budgies,1yr and 6months and they insist on eating all the stuff that falls on the bottom of the cage. I regularly change their food & give them some fruit, but they still do it!! The cage has a grille over the tray that catches al the seed, but they poke their beaks through. I also clean it regularly, but I'm curious to know why they do this.
