my little sister like to play with my fish and one day she put some apple juice when i noticed i cleaned the tank and the fish back. can they die because of the apple juice.

I dont want my fish to die! :(

I poured a bag of frozen peas into my fish tank and my fish got all better again. The problem is, they won't seem to eat fish food anymore, they only want to eat peas!!! What do I do?

I recently bought 2 bottles of Aqueon Betta Bowl Plus Water Conditioner & Dechlorinator for my 5 gallon tank. Does this work on all fish? or just specifically betta?

Im also planning on getting New fish for my betta. I was thinking Neon Tetras or platies. Any advice?

ok so my tank is a 10 galan and I have 9 fish altogether and I have 3 zebras Danial's fish and one sucker fish and sorry I do not know the names of the rest I was told by people that 10 fish could work in a 10 gallan tank so I was wandering if that would work.2 so can fish live without a heater ok so I had 5 fish not living with a heater and they lived but I was told by pet co that I should get a heater for the fish will the 5 fish die cuz of the heat change? thanks And I can not buy a bigger tank do not have the money so any ideas thanks for all the help

My grand kids and I were walking the rails and saw some men salmon fishing.One had a plastic bag of fish eggs.He made no secret of it and answered the kids questions.He told them that when he catches the salmon if someone wants the "meat" of the fish he gives that to that person and he keeps the eggs.He said if no one ants the "meat" he releases the fish.I don't know if he told us the truth or not.The reason I am asking is that on our walk we saw quite a few fish carcasses that had been completely cleaned out and the head and the outer "skin" was thrown back in the creek.I'm from Ontario, Canada if that makes a difference.

If I leave the replacement water out for 24 hours before changing the water in the Betta's bowl, is it still necessary to add water conditioner (detoxifies chlorine, ammonia, etc)? I know that at least the replacement water will be room temp, but I'm wondering if letting the water sit for 24 hours will cause any chlorine to evaporate. Also, can you add water conditioner to the bowl when the Betta fish is in it?

How do you transfer a Betta fish from the bowl/tank to a temporary container while changing the water? I've read conflicting advice. Is it better to use a fish net to transfer the Betta to a temporary container or is it preferrable to scoop the Betta & some water out of its tank with a small container?

So I have had this fish tank for about two years now and within the past month this white fungus-like stuff has started to grow at the bottom. I take really good care of the tank and have never had a problem. But I don't know how to fix this or even what it is to fix it? I have tried cleaning it all out and within a week its all overgrown again. This stuff only appears at the bottom of the tank, and seems to grow the most under the decor in dark areas, any please help?

i have a 19 gallon tank and i was wondering how many fish i can keep in my tank if all the fish are the same size as platies and guppies ?

Hi I just bought two new fish a "glow" fish and a "tequila sunrise delta guppy" fish there still in the clear bag, I also bought a glowfish starter kit the aquarium is ready I plugged in the filter the instructions say I can't put the fish in the tank until 3-4 days later, is that true if so do I keep them in the bag until its time? Please answer my question I need help!?:/

Choice 1: You do not know if you'll get anything. But, if anything hits, it will be a real monster. Chances of getting skunked = Very high.

Choice 2: You will get regular sized fish left and right. But, there won't be any impressive sized fish. Chance of getting skunked = Next to never.

You only get one choice. Please explain why. :)
